How can I change the carrier on a Load?

Note: You must have a carrier to replace the current carrier on the load prior to performing this function. If you do not have a replacement carrier for the load, please see section B to remove the carrier from the load and make the order available again.

  1. Go to Operations > Utilities > Change Load Status.

  2. Enter the Load number and press Tab.

  3. The carrier that is currently on the load will appear in the top section of the window. In the lower half of the window there is a button next to Carrier, the system defaults to having this button highlighted. Click in the Carrier field, enter the new carrier's abbreviation and press Tab. Enter the Unit # and press Tab.

  4. Click on the Update button. The new carrier is now on the load. Carriers can be switched up to the point of settling the load.

  5. Now that the carrier has been changed you can send a rate confirmation to the new carrier for the load by going to Operations > Rate Confirmations and enter the Load # and select the Report Name.

    3. You will get a popup screen asking you to confirm that you want to delete the record, click yes.

    4. After all check calls are deleted, click on the Update button and then clear out of the screen.

  2. To remove a Carrier from an Order and place the Order in an Available status: Go to Operations > Utilities > Change Load Status

    1. Enter the Load Number and press Tab.
