RateView URL Integration allows TMS users to link directly to DAT RateView. It provides quick access to rate data for specific lanes and can automatically log users in for a smoother experience. If the user isn't logged in, they'll be directed to the DAT login page first.
Key Features
- Direct Access: Provides a link that opens RateView with a preloaded lane, facilitating quick access to detailed rate information.
- User Credentials: If automated login is enabled, it must use credentials specific to the individual user to comply with licensing agreements. Group logins are not permitted.
- Use Approved URLs Only: Only documented URLs should be used for integration as other URLs might change without notice.
- Manual Activation Required: A user must manually click the link. Do not use for automated multi-lane lookups—use DAT Connexion for that.
- Testing Required: Integrations must be tested and reviewed by the DAT Product Manager before release.

Use this format to link to RateView:
https://iq.dat.com/rateview/origincity-st~destinationcity-st~Eqtype
- Use a dash (-) between city and state.
- Use a tilde (~) between origin, destination, and equipment type.
- For cities with dashes in their names, replace the dash (-) with an underscore (_).
- Example: Bois-Franc, PQ → bois_franc-pq
